The Canadian County Courthouse and administration buildings were evacuated today after a bomb threat was made, Sheriff Chris West said.

A male called the receptionist at the administration building at 1:15 p.m. and made bomb threats. Staff were evacuated by 2 p.m. to allow the Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad to clear all buildings. The investigators used bomb dogs, a robot and x-ray machine to search for evidence of a threat.

The “all clear” was given at 3:40 p.m. Investigators are looking into the case.
