Millers face No. 2 seed PC North

Yukon’s opening round match in the class 6A regionals has been moved to tonight at Putnam City North High School.
Weather had delayed the start of basketball tournaments from class B through 6A on Thursday.
YHS, 5-18, will play the No. 2 seeded Panthers, 19-4, at 8 p.m. The winners advances to the regional finals at 7 p.m. Monday night.
Putnam City North enters the game having won their last six in a row and have won 11 of their last 12. The Millers enter having lost seven in a row.
The Millers ended the regular season with a 57-54 loss to Stillwater.
Yukon had led by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter, but saw the Pioneers put together a late rally to pull off the win.
Yukon led 39-33 going into the fourth quarter and scored the first six points of the quarter on a field goal and four free throws from Tyler Dechant to take a 45-33 lead.
Stillwater cut the lead to nine on a trey from Lamont Evans cut the lead to nine. The Pioneers went on a 6-2 run to cut the lead to 47-42.
A Jacob Moore field goal and a pair of Sanford Arnett free throws did give the Millers a 54-51 lead.
Alec Nofsinger cut the lead to one, then Evans hit a shot to put the Pioneers in the lead. Stillwater added to their lead on a pair of David-Paul Caldwell free throws made it a 57-54 lead.
The Millers had a chance to tie the game, but turned the ball over with 8.2 seconds remaining. Stillwater turned the ball oer with 2.2 seconds left.
But, on the inbounds pass, Isaac Fox reached up to steal the pass and end the game.
Yukon had taken a 15-12 lead after Karsten Berg hit a trey and Carson Price and Michael Clanton hit a pair of field goals.
YHS led 28-17 at the half.
Berg led the scoring with 15, Price added 10.
