Millerettes run rule Grant, 10-0

Yukon came one step closer to earning a home playoff berth and did it in impressive fashion.
The Millerettes needed only 43 minutes to roll to a 10-0 win over U.S. Grant in a District 6A-1 match Tuesday night at Miller Stadium.
YHS improved to 5-1 in the district and 10-2 overall with their fourth straight win.
The Millerettes took 19 shots in 43 minutes and connected on 10 of them.
Myka Heimbach collected her fourth hat trick of the season in the match and ran her total goal scored this season to 26.
The Millerette defense did now allow Grant a shot in the match.
It didn’t take the Millerettes long to get on the board, scoring in the first two minutes of the contest. Heimbach took a pass from Macy Farha and sent it into the net.
The Millerettes scored in the 11th minute when Asley Baker took a pass from Erin Enmark and scored.
Heimbach had her second goal of the match one minute later, rocketing a shot into the upper corner of the net.
The Millerettes made it a 4-0 lead on a Zoe Wilson goal in the 24th minute off a pass from Alicia Ceballos.
Heimbach collected her hat trick in the 30th minute off a pass from Katelyn Fair.
Fair scored a goal in the 34th minute on a pass from Emily Kimmel. Kimmel picked up a second assist, making a pass to Jade Langoc for a score in the 35th minute.
Kimmel got her chance to score in the 37th minute on a breakaway to open an 8-0 lead right before the half.
Ceballos added the ninth goal in the opening minute of the second half and Brooklyn Barber scored the game ending goal in the third minute of the second half.
