A Piedmont firefighter was arrested in Yukon around 3 a.m. Friday morning, jail records show.
Brandon Jeter, deputy fire chief, was stopped for a traffic violation. He was jailed on three complaints: improper lane change, transporting open container, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Piedmont City Manager did not have a determination regarding Jeter’s employment on Friday afternoon.
“We’re looking into the details and researching what our options are going to be,” Orr said.
A police report was not available at press time. Jeter posted bond and is not in custody.
