A spaghetti dinner prepared by an Italian cook will benefit Compassionate Hands, a local charity that serves needy residents.
“There’s a gentleman that cooks for us, Joe Fidelie. He’s an expert at Italian cooking and he’s Italian,” Director Joanne Riley said.
The event is hosted by the Masonic Lodge, 1201 E. Main Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The organization has pledged to match funds up to $1,000.
“They’re also selling tickets and they’ve been very supportive,” said Riley.
Door prizes will be given away during the event and a raffle will be held for a $300 Visa gift card. Tickets are $5 and are available at Compassionate Hands and from board members.
