Mark Edward Wehling, 63, of Yukon, OK was born to Edward and Frances Wehling in Shawnee, Oklahoma on January 16, 1956. He passed away at home on January 29, 2019.

Mark lived and grew up in Chickasha and Oklahoma City where he graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1974.

Mark’s professional career started as a Parts/Inventory Control Manager with MHC Kenworth in Oklahoma City and finally as a Senior Retirement Benefit Analyst with the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System.

Mark (aka: Boob) met his lovely wife to be Brenda Shonne Dickerson (aka: Boobette) on her birthday September 10, 1988 and were married September 10, 1989. Mark and Brenda were happily married for 29 years until his passing.

Mark was an avid OU fan where he and Brenda would often attend games together…Boomer Sooner!

Mark had a joy of doing gardening in the yard and listening to his favorite music. Mark had two cats: Spencer & Stewie of which he loved very much.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Frances Wehling.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Shonne Dickerson Wehling of Yukon, OK. He is further survived by his sister, Deborah Evans of Nicholasville, KY; half-brother, Roger Wehling of St. Petersburg, FL and half-sister, Dianne Hartt of Tampa, FL.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at noon Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK. Arrangements under the direction of Yanda & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Yukon, OK.
