Judy Ann Jenkins, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away January 19, 2019 at the age of 73.
She was born June 8, 1945 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to John W. & Evelyn Allen.
Judy attended Canadian Valley Baptist Church. She attended high school in Chattanooga, Oklahoma, where she played on the basketball team and was the valedictorian of her class.
She attended college at Cameron University, where she earned her Associate’s Degree.
Judy was a homemaker and a baker most of her working career. She had been employed by Snyder’s IGA in Yukon for many years before retiring from the bakery at the Yukon Wal-Mart in 2009.
Judy was always happy. She had a genuine smile and a kind, loving, and caring heart. She always put her family first. Her first love was spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Mindy Long, of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Jennifer Long, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sons, David Long & wife, Tammy, of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Matt Long & wife, Stacey of White Plains, New York; 5 grandchildren, Michelle Long, Andrew Long, Bailee Pietrowicz, Kyndal Pietrowicz, and Levi Jackson; 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Jeannie Couch, of Cache, Oklahoma; 1 brother, Billy Allen of Lawton, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lynn Jenkins; and her parents, John & Evelyn Allen.
Graveside services for Judy were at Faxon, Cemetery, Faxon, Oklahoma on January 26, 2019.
