Linda Jean Williams Longacre passed away Feb. 28, 2019. She was born Jan 24, 1952 and raised by Beverly and Charles Brewer and Aubra and Joyce Williams.
She had a love of horses at an early age and was an experienced rider and regular winner of ribbons and trophies at competitions. She was a member of the Yukon Roundup Club and the Roundup Club Drill Teams. Her favorite pastime was caring for her horses.
Linda’s caring spirit led her to a nursing career where she enjoyed interacting with patients, primarily the elderly. She had worked at Spanish Cove Retirement Village the past 13 years. She loved the people she worked with and the residents she cared for. She also loved helping her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda was a mother who would do anything for her children and family members were blessed with her caring spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Shawn Longacre.
Linda is survived by her stepmother, Joyce Williams; daughter Dawn Longacre and Domestic Partner, Glenn Harris; and two sons Jay Longacre and wife, Nancy; and Jon Longacre and wife, Lela. Also her brother, Dr. David Brewer and wife, Kathy; three sisters, Brenda Williams Russell, Kim & Cari Williams. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alexis Herr, Paul Welch, Casey, Jaiden and Abby Longacre, Keagan, Phillip, Ethan, Alyssa and London Longacre and Tristan Longacre as well as nephew and niece, Matt and Lauren Brewer.
The family will welcome friends and coworkers at a memorial 3 p.m., Saturday March 9, 2019 at Spanish Cove Pavilion Atrium, 11 Palm, Yukon, OK.
