Michael Eugene Teel, age 69, was born March 19, 1949 in Tulsa, OK. He passed away March 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK.
A graduate of Moore High School, Michael then attended OU for one year where he was a member of the marching band. One of his proudest moments was being a member of the band when OU beat Tennessee in the Orange Bowl after two overtimes. He then attended and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. While at UCO he played baritone and was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinphonia.
Michael was married 45 years to high school sweetheart Charlotte Forshee. A dedicated family man, Michael taught the importance of family sticking together in the best and difficult times, and his humor kept everyone smiling with “dad jokes”. He was a faithful member of The United Methodist Church, leading, teaching, singing and giving his best.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Gene Teel.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Teel; son, Craig Teel; daughter, Christa Long & husband Paul; grandchildren: Nathan & Sarah Teel and Olivia & Cameron Long and sisters: Vicki Cox & husband Larry and Debbie Teel.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 14 at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, Yukon.
He will interred at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Columbarium, Oklahoma City, OK at a later date.
