A home invasion early Sunday afternoon in Yukon has policing searching for two armed suspects.
Yukon Police responded to the 600 block of W. Vandament Avenue for a home invasion with shots fired. Police believe robbery could be the motive.
Investigators learned that a shot was fired inside the home and a second shot was fired as the two fled the scene in their vehicle. One of the residents was hit over the head with a handgun, a prepared statement from the city of Yukon reads. It did not state if anyone was shot or if the suspects were male or female. The statement also did not provide a description of the vehicle. A full report will be released later today.
