Teresa Diana Minick, 54, went into the arms of her heavenly Father while at her home in Yukon, Oklahoma surrounded by her family on April 11, 2019.
Teresa was born in Clinton, Oklahoma before spending her childhood in Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Bohn Heller; grandmother, Bessie Casort; brother,
Henry King; best friend Christal Whitmire, and countless dearly loved pets.
She will be missed by many including her high school sweetheart and husband of 35 years Sam; daughters, Hillary, Claire and Rachel; son-in-law, Levi; sister, Kathy; nephews, Michael and Christopher, father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Nova; sister and brother-in-law, Shelly and Randy, and niece and nephew, Amanda and Grant.
Anyone who met Teresa knew of her deep faith and the love of Christ she shared with those around her. Even in her death her family has found great comfort in the miracles and peace surrounding her passing.
Teresa spent much of her life giving to her community through many outlets, such as her work as the director of Gateway Women’s Resource Center (Gateway Express Testing) and volunteering in many other organizations. Above all, the most important role in her life was being a devoted wife and mother to her family.
The family encourages you to wear bright colors to her Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, April 17 at 2 p.m. at Christ’s Church of Yukon, 620 W. Vandament Ave., with interment following at the Yukon Cemetery.
