Memorial services for Larry R. Forrest who passed away April 26, 2019, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, 1500 West Vandament Avenue, Yukon, Oklahoma.
Larry Randolph Forrest was born on August 3, 1941, in Tampa, Florida, to Frances and Lawrence Forrest.
He served in the United States Air Force as a Bomb Naval System Mechanic. Larry retired from Seagate Technology where he was Executive Director, Engineering Support of Far East Operations. After retirement he operated a computer sales and service business and also enjoyed his other hobby of restoring classic cars.
He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Shortnacy, and granddaughters, Makayla Shortnacy and Makenzie Shortnacy, all of Kaufman, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
