Evelyn Jane Phillips, age 84, was born on April 30, 1935 to Cora Pittman and Calvin Pittman. Evelyn went home to her Lord on May 19, 2019.
Evelyn was a dedicated employee of the Yukon School District as a food service manager for 30 years.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cora Taylor and step-father, Alan B. Taylor; sister, Donita Unruh; brother, Harold Pittman; beloved husband, Gene Phillips; sons, Joel and Thomas Phillips, and three great-grandchildren.
Evelyn is survived by her sister, Geneva Taylor and brother-in-law Jimmy; daughter, Donna Kline and son-in-law, Mike; grandsons, Sean Phillips, Nicholas Kline and wife Jennifer and Joshua Phillips; granddaughters, Amanda McElRoy and husband Art, and Amy McBeth and husband Paul; great-grandchildren, Trenton Campbell, Chloe Campbell, Madilyn Kline, Jackson Kline, Emma McBeth, Jolene McElRoy, and J.J. and Caden Phillips.
Evelyn will be greatly missed by all who loved her and she will always remain in our sweetest memories.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK. Interment will be held at a later date at the Yukon Cemetery.
