Gloria Russell, known to her family and friends as Go-Go, passed away June 2, 2019 in Yukon, OK. She was born on August 10, 1953 in Tucumcari, NM to Marcos and Helen (Gonzales) Garcia.
She was blessed with six sisters: Diana, Kathy, Marty, Georgia, Evelyn, and Yvonne.
Gloria married her loving husband, Larry Russell on July 12, 1975 in Yukon, OK.
She is survived by her husband Larry, and children Tanner & Jamie. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Brooke, Emilee, and Josh. Also surviving are numerous other family members and friends.
Go-Go was a homemaker who loved taking care of her entire family. She did so by cooking for family and friends, and ensuring others were where they needed to be, when they needed to be. She was the glue that held her family together and was a selfless individual who put others needs before her own, including her fur babies, who she loved dearly. She will be forever loved and sorely missed.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon, with a private interment.
