Jackie Bob Hendon went to his heavenly family on September 5, 2019. He was born on August 19, 1943 in Chickasha, OK to Jesse and Geneva Hendon. They moved to Yukon, OK in 1951 where he lived for the rest of his life. He attended Yukon Public Schools.
Although he never learned to read music Jack could play the guitar and any other instrument he picked up. He played by ear and could entertain family, church members and friends for hours on end.
He was a “Jack” of all trades and could repair most anything from cars to appliance and all electronics. The last years of his working life he spent working on ham radios and performed work on radio towers for various employers.
Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Randolph Hendon & Geneva B. Hendon of Yukon, brothers Ronald Hendon of Chickasha, OK, Jimmy Larry Hendon of Valliant, OK and sister Madora Ann Hendon-Goins, of Yukon, OK.
He is survived by his sisters Edna Jo Kolar and Lois Jean Rose, both of Yukon. Uncle Jack was loved and survived by a host of nieces and nephews –John Kolar, Mark Kolar, Sharon Moyer, Jody Rose, and Roxanna Goins-Blake of Yukon; Kimberly Rose-Collins of McKinney, TX, Jeffrey Goins of Pocasset, OK, Brad Goins of Oklahoma City and Jimmy Hendon of Great Falls, Montana and his very special friend Sandy of Yukon.
