Ruth Ann Fletchall, Grandma, “Big Grandma”, met her Lord and Savior on October 22, 2019. She was born August 26, 1939 in Douglas, OK to Herman and Edna Rogers.
In 1957 she married Jess Fletchall, and they were blessed with four children: Jim, Jay, Shari and Jere.
Moving to Yukon in 1979, they became active in Town & Country Christian Church, where she played the piano, was a member of Women for Jesus and was a charter member of the Patio Gang.
Ruth Ann worked for the FAA and was also a medical transcriptionist. In addition to the love and dedication she had for her family and raising her children, she also enjoyed playing the piano, knitting, sewing, cross-stitch, and playing board games, especially scrabble.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse; son, Jere; parents, Herman and Edna Rogers, and brother, Richard Rogers.
Ruth Ann is survived by her sons, Jim Fletchall and wife Deb and Jay Fletchall and wife Layce; daughter, Shari Benson and husband Jack; grandchildren: Richelle Barnes, Jake, Terri, and Aaron Fletchall, Sarah Moore, Tracy Smithart, Ashlea Robinson, Selena Callins, Jeremiah Benson, Jessica Melendy, and Breanna Barrett; 32 great grandchildren; brother, Bruce Rogers, and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held 4-6 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 27 at Town & Country Christian Church, 2200 S. Cornwell Dr., Yukon, OK, with interment following at 5:00 p.m., at Waukomis Cemetery, Waukomis, OK.
