Gayla Howell, STEM teacher at Shedeck Elementary School, has been awarded a $2,500 grant from Continental Resources’ “Funding the Future” grant program.
The grant will provide funding and support for Shedeck’s kindergarten and second grade STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) program.
“With the grant received, I have the extraordinary opportunity to create a classroom environment where students are experiencing and exploring problems in the real-world through science, technology, engineering and math,” Howell said.
“I would like to thank Continental Resources for their support of public education.”
