Yukon Public Schools has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2019 honor by The Oklahoman. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.
The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“Every day a child comes to learn is a new day of hope,” YPS Superintendent Dr. Jason Simeroth said. “How well our teachers motivate our students is reflected in how supported they are by their colleagues, administration and community.
“I can’t express how honored I am to be a part of such a great district.”
The Top Workplaces award is about much more than recognition and celebration, according to Energage CEO Eric Rubino.
“Our research also shows that these organizations achieve higher referral rates, lower employee turnover, and double the employee engagement levels,” Rubino said. “It just goes to show that being intentional about culture delivers bottom-line results.”
On the survey, one YPS employee reflected, “I am excited about our new leadership and the direction we are headed. I get to make a difference in the lives of our students and our staff everyday – they certainly make a difference in my life.”
