Ward 1 Yukon City Council Member Rick Cacini has announced a town hall meeting set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Mabel C. Fry Public Library, 1200 Lakeshore.
Discussion items are water shortage/costs, streets and safety security.
“I want to ensure my decisions fall in line with my constituents,” Cacini said. “I wish to hear from all regarding issues we are facing as city residents.
“I want to do the right thing for my neighborhood.”
Featured guest speaker to discuss water issues will be Mary Elizabeth Mach, Garver Oklahoma’s water team leader.
Mach was appointed in August by Gov. Kevin Stitt to sit on the state’s Water Quality Management Advisory Council.
Refreshments at the Jan. 23rd Ward 1 town hall meeting will feature coffee and cookies.
