Yukon Ward 1 City Council member Rick Cacini hosted his first town hall meeting to get input from Ward 1 residents.

Yukon At-Large City Council Jeff Wootton and residents met at the Mabel C. Fry Public Library, 1200 Lakeshore, for the Jan. 23 meeting.
“If there’s something I can do, you can call me,” said Cacini, who serves on nine boards and 13 organizations. “Also, I want input from you so I’ll know how to vote on upcoming issues.”
Individuals expressed concern about roads in disrepair and hazardous roads. Also, questions were asked about roads with no center lines painted on them.
“If you’re missing a sign, or need lines on the street, or have a hole in your road or other issues, just let me know,” Cacini said.
Cacini made a list of concerns expressed and said he would check on everything discussed.

Ward 1 resident Marc Marrs said he doesn’t attend city council meetings because his concerns are not on the agenda.
“If you have a problem that’s not on the agenda, go ahead and come,” Cacini responded. “You fill out a form, and turn it in. Then you will be called on to talk about your issue during the meeting.”
