West Metro Community Church, 601 W Main in Yukon’s downtown corridor, has announced their partnership with Oklahoma City’s new, dynamic youth outreach program Poetry and Chill OKC Kids.
Poetry and Chill OKC Kids is in association with Poetry and Chill OKC.
Poetry and Chill OKC Kids – which started in October 2018 – is a workshop teaching poetry, writing, music, and/or art lessons.
Poetry and Chill OKC Kids always make sure to provide its workshop and a meal at no cost to students.
The youth outreach program is in several Oklahoma City public schools, community centers and church locations. The workshops generally teach students in grades 5-12.
Poetry and Chill OKC Kids is a safe zone for students to come and express themselves freely. Find out more information at www.poetryandchillokc.com
The West Metro Community Church session of Poetry and Chill PKC Kids is offered at 5 p.m. Mondays (except on school holidays).
