MUSTANG – It was an impressive day for Yukon middle school basketball players at the Super 16 All-Star games in Mustang.
Yukon’s Keziah Lofton and Gabby Tilley earned Most Valuable Player honors in their respective glass in the day-long event.
YMS had five players compete (four in the seventh and eighth grade and one a sixth grader).






Lofton, who is ranked as the No. 3 player in the class of 2025 by the Naismith National Youth All-American Report, led her seventh grade team to the win, scoring 17 points. She had six rebounds, four assists, two turnovers and two blocked shots in the game.
Tilley, who played in the 2024 graduation year game, earned her MVP award and the Defensivce Player of the Game award in the eighth grade game. Tilley had 12 rebounds in the game, six on both the offensive and defensive boards, had five assists and three steals.
Caid Jefferson also played on the eighth game All-Star team and had a good showing. Her younger sister, Kenlea Jefferson played in the sixth grade game.
Ashley Cox played in the seventh grade Fan Fave game (those games were played before the All-Star games). Cox scored 10 points in helpin her team to the win.
