OKLAHOMA CITY – Yukon ran into its toughest tournament of the opening week of the season just three days after playing their opener.
The Millerettes finished sixth in the Carl Albert Invitational at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
YHS had a runner-up finish, placed fourth, seventh and 13th on the day.
“It was more of a challenging tournament, but we didn’t play as well as we did in that first one,” Millerette head coach Dick Villaflor said. “Our one doubles played good, but our youth showed in some of the others.”
