Marlon Wayne Beaver, 61, of Yukon, was born January 3, 1959 in Oklahoma City. Marlon passed away suddenly on April 26, 2020 in Oklahoma City.
He was a hardworking man who had a way of making others laugh. He met the love of his life, Denise Vanover, in 1980 and they were married in 1984. Marlon worked at Lucent Technologies for 18 years and then was employed at B&D Eagle Machine Shop for 14 years. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, gaming, cooking, gardening and tinkering in the garage.
Marlon was preceded in death by his father, Jim Beaver and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Beaver; daughter, Jennifer Dewey and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Kya, Garrett, and Maggie Dewey; mother and step-father Mary and Roy Kite; step-mother, Laura Beaver; sister, Christine Knecht and husband Steve, and several step-sisters and spouses, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A public come and go viewing will be held 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2020 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. Private graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Yukon Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
