Bernice L. (Mathews) Bakke was born May 11, 1938 in Shay, OK to Henry and Ruby
Mathews. She passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at her home in Yukon, OK at the
age of 82.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Melissa Bakke; granddaughter,
Megan Henson; grandson, Jarod Issac Birch, and four brothers.
Bernice is survived by her husband, Arlen Bakke of the home; sons: David Bakke,
Steve Bakke and wife Kelly and Doug Bakke and wife Barbara; daughter, Debra Bakke;
9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one on the way, and two sisters, Linda
Mathews and Sharon Smedley.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the
Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK.
