Mary Isabell Due, age 92, passed from this life on Friday, May 29, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born January 9, 1928 in Sautee, Georgia.
Mary moved to Yukon in 1962. She worked in the Yukon Public Schools as a cafeteria worker for over 50 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Yukon and later attended the First Christian Church of Yukon. Mary was known by many for her love of the OKC Thunder and Russell Westbrook, her famous mandarin orange cake and her love of her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Due; two sons, Charles Douglas Emberson and Terry Wayne Emberson; her parents; 5 sisters, and 1 brother.
She is survived by her daughter, Joy Rose and husband, Danny of Yukon; step-daughters, Betty Peale and husband Jim of El Reno; Darleen Wiewel and husband John of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; Lois Rector and husband Bud of Yukon; brother, Freeman Knight and wife, Odessa of El Reno; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Her life was celebrated Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at a graveside service at Frisco Cemetery, Yukon, OK.
