The Yukon Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors met Wednesday afternoon in a closed

meeting, said Chamber President Tim Ingram.
Sources have told The Yukon Progress the meeting concerns a personnel matter and involves executive director Pam Shelton. After the meeting, other board members said no comments could be made about any action taken.

Ingram asked a reporter to leave the office about 3:55 p.m. as board members arrived for the meeting that started at 4 p.m.
Ingram said the meeting was closed to the public and he would have no comment. He said the chamber office Thursday may provide more information.
Shelton could not be reached on her cellphone number that has been disconnected. Sources said she had been

suspended since last week.
Ingram locked the front door of the 10 W Main Street office to visitors. He said he expected the meeting to take several hours.
