Dennis E. Fisher was born in Okarche, Oklahoma on November 10, 1949. He passed away on July 2, 2020 after fighting a battle with cancer with his family by his side. He grew up on a farm outside of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. As a kid he was in FFA. He spent his time on the farm raising livestock and harvesting crops. He graduated from Kingfisher High School.
After high school, he attended Oklahoma State University where he pursued a BS in Agriculture. After graduating, he worked in the oil field for a supply company, had a custom harvesting crew that traveled from Texas to North Dakota, and many other endeavors. His jobs gave him and his family the opportunity to live in many different places. He always had a smile on his face when he was driving a combine. He was a member and officer of the Elk’s Lodge in Woodland, CA for several years. Dennis was a member of Life Church in Mustang, OK. He also enjoyed watching his grandson’s play ball.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and LaVaughn Fisher and his brother, Ricky Fisher.
His survivors are his lovely wife of 45 years, Connie Fisher of Yukon, OK; his children and their spouses, Shelly and Sean Standley of Eureka, CA, Mark and Courtney Fisher of Rogers, AR, and Andy and Monica Fisher of Mustang, OK, and his two grandsons, Sam and Jet. Also, his sister, Beverly and Robert Cannon of Okeene, OK; brother, Roy Fisher of Kingfisher, and his sister, Barbara Fisher of Kingfisher, OK.

Celebration of Life services were held Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, OK. A private interment will be held at a later date.
