Patsy Nadine Carnahan Ryan, one of God’s most beautiful, precious and beloved angels on earth, always placing Him first in her life, was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
Patsy was greatly loved by all her friends and family, and all that knew her will suffer a void in their hearts because of her passing. To have known her was to have loved her. But earth’s loss is always Heaven’s gain and she will be enjoying the love and attention of her heavenly Father forever more.
She was a credentialed registered nurse ministering to countless profoundly sick children, and she loved and cared for all that came into her care. She lived her entire life serving the needs of others, always giving of herself selflessly no matter what the cost, expecting nothing in return. Family, friends, patients and their parents always received the very best care that she gave unconditionally.
Patsy was very active in her Church, St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Yukon OK, serving in many capacities through the years especially helping new members on their journey to becoming Catholic. She also fondly ministered to her own family as well, sharing medical advice as well as wonderful recipes.
For almost three years Patsy faced and fought the horrible scourge of Leukemia with the heart of a lion but at the end, when all treatments had failed and she had no strength left, Patsy bravely answered the call of God with the heart of a lamb. She was the most beautiful example to us all showing us how to live and love unconditionally. Our heartfelt thanks extend to her wonderful nurses who took such special care of her during her greatest times of need, especially at the O’Donohue Infusion Clinic, OU Medical Center.
