From Staff Reports
Construction is ahead of schedule on the $13 million State Highway 4 bridge reconstruction project between Wagner Road in Yukon and Wilshire Boulevard.
Recent aerial views from City Councilman, Ward I, Rick Cacini and Kathy Cacini of Yukon show the progress on the new bridge over the North Canadian River and being built parallel to the existing highway lanes.
Rick Cacini, a pilot, flew over the site while his wife Kathy Cacini took the pictures. Cacini said he was out sightseeing in a two-seat, Cessna 152.
Motorists can expect future lane closures and lane shifts at SH 4 and Wilshire Boulevard by late summer for the intersection modification that is part of this project. Work by Manhattan Road & Bridge Co. is expected to be complete by early 2021.
