COVID-19 cases top 1,000 in Canadian County

The number of COVID-19 cases in Canadian County continued to increase Friday with more patients hospitalized in critical condition.

There were seven people with COVID-19 at INTEGRIS Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon Friday, hospital spokeswoman Brooke Cayot said. Three of those patients were in critical condition and four were in serious condition, she said.

Canadian County has had 1,009 cases, 811 people recover from the virus and five deaths reported, according to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

There have been 543 cases in Yukon and 437 people have recovered. Two people have died from Yukon, the health department reports.


Mustang has had 164 cases, 141 recoveries and one death.
El Reno reports 160 cases, 120 recoveries and one death.

Piedmont has had 70 cases, 61 recoveries and one death.

Okarche has had 23 cases, 14 recoveries and no deaths.
