MUSTANG – Canadian Valley Art Guild’s August Fine Art Show was hosted recently by BancFirst of Mustang.

The art was displayed the week of Aug. 24 in the BancFirst lobby at 620 E State Highway 152.

The staff of BancFirst awarded an oil painting by Nina Goodwin as “Best of Show”.

Vice President Branch Manager, Barry Robison presented Goodwin with the award.

The Canadian Valley Art Guild exhibits are shown in various Canadian county businesses nine months out of the year and their employees of the hosting business are asked by the art guild to jury and award the “Best of Show” for each exhibit.

The Canadian Valley Art Guild’s purpose is to promote community awareness of the visual fine arts and to aid artists in their endeavors, according to a news release.
