A new convenience store will open this fall on Yukon’s east side.
Construction is underway on a new Casey’s General Store at the southwest corner of Sara Road and State Highway 66. The new store is set to debut in late October at 10600 W Highway 66.
This will be Casey’s fifth store in the Oklahoma City area and 44th store in Oklahoma. Hours of operation will be 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“The Yukon Casey’s will offer the freshly prepared foods we are known for, including our famous pizza, sandwiches and bakery items, along with quality food and friendly service,” said Katie Petru, director of communications for Casey’s General Stores.
“The location is ideal due to the growing residential area and busy traffic on Highway 66.”
Casey’s opened a store last year just south of Yukon at the northwest corner of Reno and Cemetery Road.
Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Casey’s General Stores, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company that operates more than 2,200 convenience stores in 16 states.

Casey’s had previously focused on small towns but has begun to make a push into suburban and urban areas.
“At Casey’s General Stores, our purpose is to make life better for our communities and our guests every day,” Petru said. “We’re proud to be expanding in the Oklahoma City community and look forward to welcoming guests at our new store in the coming months.”
Founded more than 50 years ago, Casey’s is the fourth largest convenience store chain and fifth largest pizza chain in the United States.
The company made ordering their popular pizza easier last year by launching a mobile app through its website.
Guests can join Casey’s Rewards to earn points that can be redeemed for Casey’s Cash, fuel discounts or to donate to a local school of their choice.
The company has a program called Cash for Classrooms to demonstrate its purpose to make lives better for its communities and guests.
