The Yukon Veterans Museum gala on Thursday, Sept. 17, featured a Tinker Air Force Base commander.

Col. Paul G. Filcek, the 72nd Air Base Wing commander, was the keynote speaker.

The museum’s seventh anniversary fundraiser was at the Dale Robertson Center. Museum founder Lt. Col. (ret.) Rick Cacini welcomed Filcek to the gala. The event also honored Leonard Curtis, 98, a U.S. Army sergeant who fought in World War II.
