PIEDMONT – Rows of bright orange pumpkins have filled the green grass lot near the Simpson grain elevator for autumn days.

Pumpkin sales are benefitting the Piedmont Round Up Club and area veterans this October.

The club is looking for volunteers to help work the patch on Saturdays and Sundays.

All shapes and sizes, mums and straw bales are available.

People can pick their pumpkins from 3 p.m. until dark Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m Sundays through Oct. 30.
