Yukon Veterans Museum receives restored Civil War saddle

Officers of the Yukon Veterans Museum accept this restored Civil War horse saddle that was cleaned and shined by Yukon’s Greyson Mussman (seated at left) as a community service project. Behind Greyson and his mother Melody are Rick Cacini, Tom Thomas and Jerry Icenhower of the Yukon Veterans Museum, 1010 W Main. “It’s like brand new,” said Cacini, the museum’s founder and curator. “It looks fantastic. He did a great job.” Yukon’s Larry Davison donated the military saddle to the Yukon Veterans Museum Foundation. (Photo by Jack Hinton)
