United Pharmacy, located at 901 S. Cornwell Drive in Yukon, is staying ahead of Yukon’s needs. An independent, family owned pharmacy since 1972, owners Carly and Sean Ennis, and Diane and Steve Weaver, are intent on meeting their customers’ needs. The pharmacy staff has a combined 42 years of experience. And they’re known for offering medical equipment and great customer service. They’re also prepping to offer the COVID-19 vaccine.

Carly said, “We’ve just been approved to give the COVID-19 vaccine when it’s available. We’re giving flu shots now. A lot more people are interested in getting a flu shot this year. We also offer a wide variety of vaccines including those for whooping cough, pneumonia, and shingles.”

“Any time we’re open, people can come in for any vaccine we offer, with no prescription needed for most vaccines we provide,” Carly said.

“No appointment is needed. Also, we’ve started doing on-site flu vaccines for businesses and senior living centers. They just need to call us to schedule, and we’ll come to their location. It’s one less trip people have to make.”

The pharmacy is fully stocked with a massive inventory and selection of mobility and other equipment and items that are often hard to find. Carly said, “We specialize in durable medical equipment. One of our big sellers is lift chairs. They can be custom ordered for fabric, style, size, and features. And we deliver them at no cost. They’re awesome. We also have walkers, wheel chairs, motorized scooters, bath chairs, compression socks and hose, and many other categories of durable medical equipment and accessories. It’s a great way for us to help people get their mobility back and start enjoying life with their families again, and to help people take care of themselves and their loved ones. Plus we have good prices. If people will come by, we’ll help them out.”

United Pharmacy of Yukon isn’t your average pharmacy. The location offers medication synchronization, medication therapy management, compounding, wound care, Flavor RX for medication flavoring for children and animals, a drive thru, and free local delivery.

Using their new PocketRx mobile app, customers may refill 24/7, set reminders, save on medications, and access their accounts. Their full-time pharmacist, Johnny Rosales, is fluent in Spanish. They accept all major insurances and offer great cash prices.

In 1972, Steve’s father and Sean’s grandfather, Jimmy Weaver, opened the pharmacy at 401 W. Main Street, on the northwest corner of 4th and Main Street. Baker Photos & Video Inc. is currently in that location.

Diane and Steve Weaver became the owners and grew the pharmacy until they needed a new space.

So, in 1997, they moved to the current location on Cornwell Drive. Now Sean and Carly are partnered with Diane and Steve in ownership.

“I feel like we’re special because we treat everyone like family,” Carly said.

“Our customer service is the best you can get for everyone who walks through our door. We make sure our patients are happy and we take care of them. We go the extra mile.”

“I’m always amazed by the support of our community,” Carly said. “We love Yukon, and Yukon has been really great to us.”

United Pharmacy is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The location is closed on Sundays. However, the pharmacy has an emergency line to call if anyone needs urgent help after hours.
