Ronnie Aldridge, Sr. passed away after a five-year courageous battle with cancer on December 29, 2020, in Yukon. Ronnie was born to James William and Eula Aldridge in Duncan on June 17, 1944.
He graduated from Duncan in 1963 and then attended Cameron College in Lawton. Ronnie proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years.
Ronnie met the love of his life Helen, and they married on June 15, 1968 in Duncan and together had two sons.
He worked for Rexam, retiring after 29 years. Ronnie loved OU and never met a stranger. He loved spending time with family and friends and was a member of Yukon Church.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Patsy, Wayne and Bill.
He is survived by his wife Helen of the home; sons, Billy and wife Karen of Yukon; Ronnie Jr. and wife Tisha of Yukon; grandchildren Dylan, Garrett, Ashton and Griffin; sister, Colene Whitaker of Yukon as well as several nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
Viewings will be held January 2 & 3, from 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, OK. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 4 at Yukon Church, 11715 N.W. 10th St., Yukon, OK, with interment following at Yukon Cemetery.
