Al Seeliger

Wayne Alan “Al” Seeliger lived a full life of 83 yrs. and went to be with the LORD on Dec. 29, 2020.

Al loved the outdoors – fishing & hunting from Alaska to Africa making life long buddies on the way. Laughing and loving was a part of Al’s DNA.

Born and raised in Orlando, OK by Ephriam & Elsie Seeliger, Al grew up on a farm and graduated from Orlando H.S. in 1955.  He played basketball and baseball, was a member of FFA and served as Class Treasurer.

Al served in the US Army on the USARAL Rifle Team stationed in Fairbanks, AK and was honorably discharged in 1961.

He married Marjorie Flasch, his precious wife in 1959 and had 2 children, Dana and Brian and made their home in Yukon, OK. Family meant everything to Al and they were ALL the joy of his life! He enjoyed and loved being involved with Dana and Brian’s sporting events from little league through their college careers.

Al received his Associates Degree from El Reno Jr. College then worked as a supervisor at Western Electric for 17 years. He ended his working career as a small business owner of a commercial trucking company. Al loved driving his dump truck.
He loved God, His Family and His country and has been a good and faithful servant to all spreading the good news of the gospel in his own unique way to whomever and whenever he could.
Al was preceded in death by his Mom & Dad and brother Paul Seeliger.

He is survived by his wife, Marj Seeliger; daughter, Dana Kellner and husband Russell, and son, Brian Seeliger and wife Traci. Al’s love grew even more through his extended family with the marriages of Dana to his son-in-law, Russell and Brian to his daughter-in-law, Traci, and adding his 4 precious grandchildren that he dearly loved, Kole & Grace Kellner and Ava & Emma Seeliger.
Al is now an eternal member of the Heavenly Hunting and Fishing Club.
