Residents in Yukon are asked not to use too much water Wednesday.

Yukon Public Schools will be virtual on Thursday, as dangerously slick areas and freezing temperatures continue to interrupt in-person learning.

“Due to the dangerous road conditions on side streets and parking lots, Yukon Public Schools will continue in CLP (Online/Remote Learning) on Thursday, February 11th, 2021,” district officials reported.

Meanwhile, record low temperatures are ahead Saturday and then a snowstorm Sunday and Monday.

The wind chill factor could make temperatures in Yukon Sunday feel like minus 25, the National Weather Service reports.

Yukon Schools were virtual only on Tuesday and Wednesday. All activities and events have been canceled for Thursday. The Total Wellness Clinic and Fine Arts Center will be closed. Employees will work remotely, district officials reported on their Facebook page.
