The frigid, low temperatures kept the numbers down, but the snow-packed hill was inviting to many at Chisholm Trail Park in Yukon.
Sledders took advantage of the Boot Hill Trail and went up and down the hill just south of W. Vandament Avenue.

Crystal Heckle and her sons made it to the park about noon Thursday, Feb. 18. Cory Heckle, 1, who is almost 2, was not too happy about sledding, but he did take a turn with his mom in the saucer-type sled. Carl Heckle, 14, also took a few trips down the hill on a sled. Temperatures will be in the 50s daily next week with more sunshine at the end of February. More than 10 inches of snow from Sunday to Wednesday will take some time to melt as temperatures warm through the weekend. Schools remained virtual through Friday for Yukon Public Schools.
In-person learning was expected to resume Monday, Feb. 22.
