The recent snowfall and brutal cold temperatures were hard on vehicles.
Roadways had salt and sand, and much of it ended up on the underside of vehicles. Engines had extra strain in sub-zero temperatures, and mud and dirt caked plenty of wheels.
Kooper Kellis took advantage of warmer weather on Monday to get to the car wash in Yukon.
He stopped at The Wash Rack at the southwest corner of Cornwell Drive and State Highway 66. The bays were not too crowded there.

Other car washes in Yukon had long lines, such as seen at the Okie Express Auto Wash in Yukon, 12845 N.W. 10 Street.
Kellis said he was getting ready to paint his pickup, since the weather had warmed up.
“I’m getting the salt off, I’m painting the mudflaps today,” Kellis said.
His 2007 Dodge Ram dual pickup was much whiter when he left than when he arrived Monday.
