Man arrested after trying to steal two pickups

A carjacking at Casey's General Store injured a woman Friday, police reported.

A man was arrested after a reported carjacking incident at Casey’s General Store early Friday that injured a woman who was struck by a pickup, Oklahoma City police report.

The incident started at Sara Road and State Highway 66 at the Casey’s parking lot.

The man arrested was Kenneth Fuller, 61, police reported. Fuller faces complaints of robbery, leaving the scene of an injury accident, resisting arrest and assault and battery.

Fuller was taken to the Oklahoma County jail, police reported.

About 5:45 a.m. Oklahoma City officers were called to Casey’s regarding a carjacking.

A man told police he was filling up his pickup at a fuel pump when Fuller pushed him and got into the pickup. As Fuller attempted to drive off, the man said he climbed into the pickup and struggled with Fuller. Fuller put the pickup into gear and dragged the man for a short distance before coming to rest at the front doors of the store, other vehicles were damaged.

A woman who said she was walking by at the time was struck and suffered minor injuries.

Fuller ran to another pickup and tried to demand the driver get out, police reported.

After banging on the door and yelling, Fuller then ran east and was arrested by officers a short while later.
