Yukon Public Schools has announced the 2021 YHS Graduation Ceremony will be 7 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Miller Stadium, 1777 S Parkway.
About 600 seniors are due to graduate.
The commencement exercise will allow the YHS Class of 2021 to safely celebrate this “momentous occasion” with family and friends, YPS officials said:
“The date, time and location change will ensure graduates receive the recognition they deserve after prevailing over an unmatched high school career. Although traditionally held in Oklahoma City, the district anticipates moving the ceremony to Yukon will enrich the experience for graduates and equip our community to follow public health and safety guidelines throughout the event.”
The 30th annual YHS Project Graduation will be 6:30-10:30 p.m. Thursday, May 20 on the football field, 1777 S Yukon Parkway, after graduation rehearsal.
About 90% of this year’s graduates are expected to attend Project Graduation.
