William Berry

William “Bill” Daniel Berry, 85, of Yukon, passed away on August 12, 2021. He joined his mother Georgia, father William Daniel, loving wife Ardell, sisters, Molly Hensley and Pat Robertson, and brothers, Jasper and Donald Ray in Heaven.

Bill was born in Konawa, where he graduated high school. He attended East Central University in Ada and was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard. He worked for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as an Aerospace Draftsman for over 30 years. He was one of the early founders of the Jays Pee Wee organization in Yukon and inspired many young athletes. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at Lake Eufaula with his wife Ardell, along with many family and friends. He also loved Sooner football.

He was a caring and loving partner to his spouse Ardell (Brock) Berry for over 50 years. After Ardell’s passing, he was blessed with a kind and loving relationship with Pat Gibson.

Bill is survived by his children: Cathy (Kenny) Creger, Bill (Deb) Berry, and Danny (Dea) Berry; grandchildren: Jake, Shawn (Erica) Creger, Krystal (Jed) Winters, Jamie (Troy) Hinkle, Jesse Berry, and Julie Berry; great grandchildren: Jaden and Addie Creger, Jack, Luke and Livi Creger, Gage and Holden Winters and Evan, Hannah, and Bennett Hinkle, as well as many loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill will be missed by many.

A viewing will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 19, with services 1 p.m., Friday, August 20 at Yanda & Son Funeral Home, Yukon, with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St., Oklahoma City. The family encourages everyone attending to wear a mask.
