The Yukon Public Schools district has announced the number of students enrolled for the fall semester.
The district has 9,155 students Friday, Aug. 20, a school spokesman said.
In August 2020 the district had 8,982 students enrolled. The number dropped to 8,209 by the end of September last year during the pandemic. Yukon Schools went to five-day a week, in-person learning last year before fall break.
Enrollment for the district in 2019 reached 9,005.
There were 8,889 students enrolled in the 2018-2019 school year.
The 2017-2018 enrollment was 8,781 students, and 2016-2017 was 8,479.
