Doug Lawson was part of a crew putting the finishing touches on the festival about noon Thursday. He was joined by D’Anthony Perkins, Jason Worden, Bailey Schenck.

Worden said it was warm at noon, “But we have a nice breeze.”

The high temperature when the festival starts at 6 p.m. will be in the upper 90s.

There will be plenty of refreshments available and activities for children.

Rock The Route music will last until 11 p.m. There will be food trucks at the festival.
