Eldean Fredrick Sauer went to be in the arms of his Lord and Savior. It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the sudden death of Eldean F. Sauer of Bethany on November 6, 2021, at the age of 87. He was born November 10, 1933, in Custer County to Fred and Clara Sauer.
Many happy times have been spent hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature. Eldean served in the Oklahoma National Guard in Weatherford. He was a farmer and construction contractor.
Preceding him in death and welcoming him to Heaven are his parents; two brothers, Jack and Bob Sauer; and two sons, Fredrick Dean Sauer and Daniel Dwayne Sauer. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy (Barrick) Sauer; one son, Brad Barrick and wife Shelia of Woodward; one daughter, Dela King and husband Brent of Yukon; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mercer-Adams. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery. To share a memory or condolence, visit www.mercer-adams.com
