A childlike sense of wonderment and awe overtook many eastern Canadian County parents as they stepped foot into Santa’s Toy Shoppe Giveaway Day on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Similar to Santa’s actual workshop in the North Pole, a huge building overwhelmingly stuffed full of donated games and toys was theirs for the taking at the annual festivity.

Families selected for this event come to the toy shoppe from Yukon, Mustang, and Piedmont to select toys for their children. They are provided with a designated time to shop on toy giveaway day by the charitable organization.
