Bice is Back

Oklahoma Fifth District congresswoman attends Yukon coffee klatch

Oklahoma Fifth District Congresswoman Stephanie Bice “returns” to Yukon on Friday, March 25 to attend the Yukon Community Coffee hosted by Archery Traditions, 328 Elm in Old Mill Plaza. Republican Bice is facing re-election this year and was among about a dozen political candidates to attend Friday morning’s coffee klatch. Bice told the audience that the Fifth Congressional District will include part of Yukon after legislative redistricting. A Democrat contender, attorney Abby Broyles, announced this week she was withdrawing her challenge for the Fifth District seat. That announcement came just days after Joshua Harris-Till, past president of the Young Democrats of America, jumped into the race. Congresswoman Bice previously represented Yukon in Oklahoma Senate District 22 before being elected in 2020 to the U.S. House of Representatives, narrowing defeating incumbent Kendra Horn.
